Behind the Meals

Our Story

Welcome to Nourish to Heal. We are so glad you're here. We're Anthony and Nicole Piazza, a husband and wife team -- chef and dietitian -- passionate about creating nourishing, delicious meals for you to enjoy.

In 2020, we decided to give access to our famous recipes from our successful restaurant (The Clean Plate Kitchen) so people could enjoy them from home.

Thus, Nourish to Heal was born. Blending culinary expertise, dietitian credentials, and the principles of intuitive eating, our mission is to help people find peace and balance around delicious and wholesome food, no matter what their allergies or dietary preferences.

Meet

Nicole

Local to Hunterdon County, I studied nutrition at the University of Vermont, got my masters and finished dietitian credentialing at West Virginia University.

Since then I began a private nutrition practice, Nourish to Heal, focusing on helping clients heal their relationship with food and create health within their bodies.

Nourish to Heal has reunited us with our intention to nourish our community and share our passion about nutrition and local food. We are so grateful for the support of the community and excited to see how this part of our journey evolves, with a constant reminder of our mission Nourish to Heal our bodies, minds, and spirits with Feel Good Food!

Anthony

Born and raised in Lebanon Township, I owned and operated Riverside Coffee & Tea before expanding into the restaurant business (so I'm all about a properly brewed Cup of Joe). When Nicole became my partner, in business and in life, it evolved into The Clean Plate Kitchen.

Together, we attended the health supportive culinary program at The Institute of Culinary Education in Manhattan. Now, I take Nicole's creative vision and nutritional inspirations and bring them to life in our kitchen and in our brand new, state-of-the-art space.

If you can't find me at 10 Leigh Street, chances are I'm out fishing, golfing, or skiing. But usually, you'll probably find me in the kitchen, bringing clean eating to our communities, and supporting them in every way I can.

Nourish to Heal is a family business. We are grateful to share our passion with our children and have more time to spend together, both in and out of the kitchen.
